Gentle insertion and cervical stimulation: The Spirette® point is modelled on a boar's penis and provides stimulation of the cervix in nature, which improves semen uptake in sows and prevents injury.

Secure fit and seal: The beaded tip fixed the catheter in place and prevents semen reflux. It is well suitable for remaining in the young sows for a while and stimulating over a long period of time.

Plug and Handle: The integrated Plug prevents semen loss after insemination, while the Handle supports clean and safe work on the farm.

SafeLock system and flexible shaft: The 3-tier notch at the end of the catheter holds the tube reliably, while the flexible shaft allows for easy, precise handling.

Sterile packed: The insemination pipettes are sterile packed and meet the high hygiene requirements. For safe and clean work in breeding operations.

SafeBlue® - the innovative hygiene concept

Successful insemination based on 3 pillars: sperm quality, time of insemination and, last but not least, hygiene. This is where the SafeBlue concept comes in:

  • clean and protected from bacterial contamination at all times
  • each catheter is sterilised and individually packaged in a protective sleeve, where it remains germ-free until insertion
  • Protective sheath: no contamination of the catheter during insertion; the catheter tip is only pushed through the sheath inside the vagina
  • Catheter tip is already provided with sperm-friendly lubricant, no need to handle lubricants during insemination
  • no loss of time due to time-consuming preparation: dry cleaning of the vulva is sufficient
  • Perforation line for easy tearing off of the protective cover
  • higher pregnancy and farrowing rates
